What Employees Want: Optimizing Total Rewards for Attraction & Retention

with Matthew Chadwick, Cottingham and Butler

Recruiting and retention is becoming increasingly tough, especially with four generations of workers in the workforce. Historically, companies have used benchmarking and one-time employee surveys, but these are not getting the insight or results they are hoping for.  This session is going to talk about a new way to gain impactful employee feedback on your total rewards offering, and how to best communicate it for maximum value.

Takeaway #1:  Rewards are not always about recruiting and retention; some are about culture.

Takeaway #2:  Measuring what is most important is the key to prioritization.

Takeaway #3:  There is a lot of room to improve upon what you already have.

Takeaway #4:  Taking care of a person’s wellbeing is often underappreciated until they use it or understand it.

Takeaway #5:  Rewards are essential to being an employer of choice, but are useless when coupled with a poor experience.
